Hi,

I would try using Amarok music prog, it is a KDE app but I use it for my music, it should find your IPhone!!.

Open Synaptic and type amarok in search and mark it for installation, before you commit, right click the package and check for any recommended and suggested packages and install them too!!.

If you don't have the medibuntu repository active, check your software sources list!!.
