Steganography & Watermarking

Hi,

A bit of a double-question post here.

First, I'm looking to apply a watermark to my pictures before I publish them. If I have some text such as "distribution prohibited" or "copyright joe bloggs" or something like that, how can I apply that to a group of images in bulk, without having to use an image editor, such as GIMP on each? What if I had to make it "ghosted", or transparent so it doesn't obscure the actual image too much, but it is still noticable?

Secondly, I'd like to add to the image some data, maybe another image, or maybe a binary file, essentially giving a concealed watermark. Is there a steganographic tool I can use for that that is available that supports concealing binary files into images? Recommendations welcome.

Hmm... Found exactly the same thing here:

Not sure who got there first though.

Thanks for the link. That deals with the watermark, but not the steganography bit :P It's a start though, thanks :)
