I am trying to transfer my profile from my windows over Zorin. how to i locate the dir for thunderbird?

Thanks, but it's not there. The file I want to transfer is *******.default. How do you install mozilla backup on zorin, as it won't allow me to give it permission.

Hi,

sudo to root using Alt + F2 then type:

gksudo nautilus

Which will give you ultimate power in your home folder (Nautilus). You can copy and paste to your hearts content but remember, everything you do in the future with the files/folders; must be done as "root" because the files/folders will be taken over by Mr Root!!.

Or create your own admin nautilus with a launcher
