[SOLVED] taskbar disappearing

Hey guys,
My taskbar at the top of my screen keeps disappearing(using mac osx view). I can use 'gnome-panel' to restore it, but it disappears again after I close terminal.

Hi. The bar does not appear at all when you open the PC?
You can go to system>administration>startup applications and create a new entry.

Name it i.e. "Panel bar", and give the command

Code:: gnome-panel

.
Restart and see if that helped.

I'm no die-hard, but I sure do like it. Was watching them all again on Netflix instant, but they got a lot of missing episodes
