I am trying to transfer songs from my pc to my ipod nano 6th gen. It shows as transferring onto my ipod, but when I eject it, and try to play them, they are not there. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Bumping this thread as I have the exact same problem.
After many tweaks I managed to make banshee copy some music over to my Ipod shuffle, 1st gen. The ipod refuses to play the files though. What could be the problem? Previously worked fine via a 1st gen Imac's Itunes.
Did a factory reset of the ipod through Itunes on a win7 64bit, before connecting it to banshee in Zorin 9 Lite on a AMD Duron 1200Mhz, 500MB RAM, 32bit.
Any input appreciated.
