cant add app to pseudo win7 taskbar

hi,

how do i add a app-launcher to win7 style taskbar? When i right-click on default existing nautilus icon theres a option edit identifier -> so how do i add new identifiers?

Hi,

right click on the taskbar (panel) and then on add, just select what you want from the list, the other alternative is to open the menu and right click any app and add to panel!!.

I think you can also drag and drop the app on the panel bar.

Drag it directly to the panel bar. It works just fine. I have done it too many times with thunderbird (which I dragged from menu>internet>thunderbird). Easy as that...

Hi all,

Gnome 3 doesn't allow dragging apps to the taskbar or panel!!.

Gnome 3.4 is coming soon and maybe; just maybe, they have a fix for this major oversight!!.
