I have xfce 4.8 installed in my Zorin install. I want to upgrade it to 4.10, or maybe do a clean install. Any idea how I can do this? Has anyone been successful in installing xfce 4.10?

These are the instructions I tried:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mrpouit/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
Now due to a bug, 3 packages will not be upgraded. To resolve this issue go to synaptic package manager and click “Mark all upgrades” and apply, you will then get a pop-up asking to remove a package, just click yes and wait it to complete than you are good to go.

Whatever the version is before 4.10. Maybe I am wrong. Maybe it is 4.08?

Use the 2 links above, and if you have broken packages, the one below:

If you don't have your software sources fully up-to-date, you won't get the newer packages!!.
