ktorrent on Zorin

Can someone please help me getting ktorrent to install properly in Zorin with the plugins and the GUI functioning properly. I've been pulling my hair out for a week now and about to drop Zorin because of this issue.

Please don't tell me to use something else because as of yet nothing can compare to ktorrent features without being a major resource hog. The exception is a something that has advanced filters with rss feeds.

Ktorrent can be easily installed through ubuntu software center.

However, I suggest to you to use qbitorrent! I know you said that you prefer ktorrent, but qbitorrent has more features like the option to auto-shutdown when the downloads are finished!
Try it and let me know.

Deluge is easy to install and use!!.

If you really want ktorrent, install the package "kde-full", it will give you more support for KDE packages!!.
