I'm running Zorin OS the free and latest version.
I went to grc's website to test my computer's hackability. To my surprise my ports were closed instead of stealth and 4 ports were open. Ports 21, 22, 23 and 80. I tried configuring the firewall adding those ports to secure them but to no avail - the results were still the same. Next I installed firestarter and tried to configure that. Both firewalls work, but my ports are still open.
This is worrying because I thought all Linux distros were secure.
I use the internet via wifi with wpa2 security password protected.
My preferred option would be that all my ports were stealth, but I would be happy even if all my ports could be closed
