freezing the session

Hi

We have recently started to use zorin os 5 and until now had used lethe to freeze the desktop so that in a shared room (as ours is a school if someone plays around with it upon reboot it will be reset.

lethe does not seem to work anymore , what would you advise....

Hi,

you should try running "dpkg" from the recovery menu, if you only have Zorin on the PC, press the Esc key when booting and the menu will appear!!. If I were you, I would simply use either the suspend or hibernate function instead of Lethe!!. You can also try running "fsck" from the same menu but do that before you run dpkg!!.

Are you using Beta software?????, I see on the download website that it is only available as Beta!!. (I would remove it until a finished stable version is available!)

For those that don't know, Lethe is a GPL Partition Freezing Software!.
