Update Manager

I am unable to complete updates. The process hangs at gathering downloads. I have to use the force misbehaving app. to exit.

What info does someone need to help. I am running the Natty 11.04 Zorin free

You can do it through terminal.
Make sure that you have internet and then open terminal and write:

Code:
sudo apt-get update
hit <enter>, write your password and hit <enter> again.
and
Code:
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
hit <enter>, write your password and hit <enter> again.
