USB floppy drive will not open floppy disk

I just installed ZorinOS6. Good stuff! It shows my USB floppy drive but will not open the floppy disk. Any one now what I am doing wrong? THANK YOU in advance.

Hi,

if you open home, it should show up in the left hand pane, right click on the drive and then on "Mount".

If you want to enable "Automount" for any drives:

Gconf Editor > Org > Gnome > Desktop > Media-Handling > Automount

(It may or may not work!!)

the package "dconf-tools" must be installed!!.
