Hi Wolfman
Default theme here as well. Have not tried changing it, however.

Hi
"zorin os box" theme works well, but the problem is, it doesn't have any search function.
The rest of themes with search function giving same results.

Hi,

do you have a Nvidia card??, I have posted a bug report about a problem with them!!.

Have you added the webupd8 theme PPA??:

In a terminal:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/themes

sudo apt-get update

3rd party themes:

You know why?

i cannot remove nVidia drivers because i need the 3d acceleration, but i can tell that it happens (that issue) since just some days only

from the noveau wiki

The Nouveau 3D Drivers

The 3D drivers of the Nouveau driver suite are in Mesa. All the drivers are in a state to allow to play some games, more or less. You can try them at your own discretion, and some distributions even package them. When you encounter problems with them, read below, whether bug reports are valued or accepted, please. GalliumHowto explains the Gallium3D based drivers' installation process.

While the drivers include a significant amount of functionality and probably work on the common Linux games shipped with distributions, there are still some serious issues and they are not too optimized for performance. OpenGL applications that work at first may crash sooner or later. Some applications may crash X itself or hang the GPU. You should be prepared to face issues, and be able to recover from them yourself. If the GPU hangs, you can either reboot or suspend (see LockupRecovery).

... that's why i need nvidia drivers: the full 3d acceleration support

there must be some compatibility issue between xorg/kernel/nvidia drivers on zorin, am i wrong?

Hi,

yes!; there is some sort of problem and until the devs work it out, we will have to live with it.

You can try pestering them with a message but you might just "P" them off!!.

I have the same problem, you can either revert to Z5 or wait it out!!.
