Hi everyone.

Don't know if this is the right place to ask but Im kind of new to linux and need help getting awn launching. Works perfectly in the Windows 7 look but i cant find it in the Gnome 2 look or where to launch it. I then uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it showed up under the applications>accessories menu. However, when I click it nothing launches. Anyone know how to fix this? If so, let me know, thanks. :D

Hi,

AWN is not supposed to work in G2 mode that is why it doesn't work, you can either select the W7 or XP mode to use it, it will conflict in G2 mode because you have 2 types of desktop manager running at the same time!!.

Hi,

if you managed to re-install AWN, you need to make sure that it shows up in the "Startup Applications" list.

Add > Browse > File System > usr > bin > avant window navigator
