In Ubuntu 12.04 the Windows (Super) key opens the Unity Launcher. I can't figure out how to get a shortcut for the Launcher in Zorin 6 Ultimate. any help will be appreciated.

Hi,

go to system settings > Keyboard > Shortcuts and set your shortcut there.

Thanks, Wolfman, but my problem is I don't know the command to activate the launcher. "Launcher" doesn't seem to work.

Hi,

I don't think that "Dash" (the Unity launcher) is included in Zorin 6, that is why Unity launcher won't work!!. (Do you have Ultimate??).

What exactly are you trying to launch??.

I have Ultimate. What I'd like to launch from the keyboard is the equivalent of clicking the black "Z" on blue background button at the top left of the desktop. I think it's called "Launcher," but I'm not sure.

Thanks to all. I can do without this very minor convenience, I guess.

Hi Dave,

if you are using G2 desktop, you can add a Zorin button to the top panel if that will help you!!.

Press Alt +Super (Windows key) then right click on top panel > Add to panel > Application launcher >then add the icons you want from the list.

To remove icons: Alt + Super > right click over icon you want to delete then on "Remove".

I hope this helps :D :D
