OS 6 Core Install problem

Earlier today I did an install of 6 core. The Live DVD seemed to work perfectly. I did the install and when I rebooted I had nothing but a purple screen with AWN. Nothing else was visible.

Any Ideas?

please see this thread and go to the "Broken Files" section and run the 3rd option first:

Also when you get to your desktop open terminal (ctrl+alt+T) and write

Code:: jockey-gtk

and see if there are any recommended GPU drivers to be enabled.
