But again and again it turn on to be in English instead ... !

Well I understand English, as bacis - But I would prefer zorin OS 6 in my own native language.

It keep saying, that "there is something wrong with the net-connection" - But the internet work fine.

Please tell me what to do to solve this problem ...

I don mind installing it again - But on the other hand, so have I been doing that 5 times with the same result - English and not Danish text ...

Hope for your help.

Hi,

it really is simple:

System Settings > Language Support > Add/Remove Languages > Remove English > Add Danish > Restart your PC

System settings>language support>language
You chose and/or install the language you want and then on the tab "language" you drag and drop your favorite language on the top of the list.
You click on "apply system-wide".

Very important:
Then you go to the "regional formats" tab, you choose your favorite language and you click again on "apply system-wide".

You reboot and when you login you will be asked if you want to change the names of the icons to your newly installed/selected language.
You click on "yes".

"Funny" - I do what you suggest, and there is still not Danish language... ?

It is on the language list, and English is taken off -

Never the less ... It is English language it show.

Hi Jorn, (Sorry but I don't know how to add that character in your name!)

Take a look at the 2 pics, the one that has the languages listed needs only a tick in the Danish language, remove all other ticks!!. Restart your PC afterwards.

Or: Install the package "localepurge" to rid your PC of all unwanted language packages!!. Select which packages you wish to keep during the installation of the package (localepurge), you need to make sure that all the different packages for the same language are marked!!. In your case "Danish".

sudo apt-get install localepurge

It will ask you what language you want to keep during install, select only "Danish".
