[SOLVED] drag and drop icons from menu directly onto panel

Does anybody know why you cannot drag and drop menu icons directly onto the panel as you can in Zorin 5.2? If you want to do this now, you have to move the icon on to the desktop first and then on to the panel. :o :?

So is this a bug or a feature? It works fine in 5.2 so why would it be changed in Zorin 6?

Hi,

it is sadly one of the quirks in Gnome 3!!!.

Will mark this as solved if you have no objections!!.

I have just upgraded from 5.2 to 6.1 and found the same problem with Nautilus 3.4.2,, what a bummer. I got around it by creating "Bookmarks" of the folders into sidebar. Hope this helps.
