(Solved)Wifi & Ethernet?

Hi,

When i connect my machine via Ethernet the WiFi keeps trying to connect, displaying messages & the a green circle rotating in place of the 2 black screens.

It is fine for a few mins when I click on cancel to connect via WiFi.........any suggestions?

Hi Chris,

assuming you are on a notebook, switch off the Wifi on the keyboard with the FN key + whatever other key it uses as a switch, on my notebook, it is FN + F2.

Other notebooks have an on/off switch!!.

You can also simply switch the Wifi off by clicking on the network icon in the panel and disable it there!!.

Thanks Wolfman I am on a desktop & unchecked Enable Wireless......is that fine?
