(PENDING FULL ANSWER) How to display favorites in gnomenu?

Nice distro.

One thing that is puzzling me is how to display the applications that have been selected as being 'favorites' from the right click menu in gnomenu.
I've been looking through the forum and help files with no success. Is there a bug in gnomenu?

I've also noticed that occasionally gnomenu just stops working .... in other words clicking on the icon to launch gnomenu fails to launch.

Hi,

have you fully updated your system?:

viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2247

Do you have an Nvidia card?:

Let us know if either of these help you out!!.

Hi

System is fully up to date as outlined in viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2247
This laptop is using an Intel card.

I'm still unable to find any 'favorites' within gnomenu.
I've also noticed that some searches, for example for 'tomboy', displays 'Found 1 results to your search' but nothing is listed ..... very odd.

I am having the exact same issue with the gnomenu too.

Right click - add to favorites ... but where are they ?

Have to reboot sometimes 'cause the gnomenu does not open

... and Tomboy ... always does this

Have run the 3rd option. No packages are showing as being broken.

Still having the same issues with gnomenu ..... a software feature?

Have you both tried re-installing the app via Synaptic??.

Hi
If you right click the menu icon and click preferences you can select other menu styles, some of which have favorites in them.

tried:
sudo dpkg --configure -a (asks for pass ... then nothing)

In synaptic "Fix Broken Packages" - also get nothing.

Yes and this has made no difference :( .

The slab theme seems to show favorites but other themes including the default (Win 7) appear to be broken.
I'll use the slab theme for now :)
