Dears,

I've just installed desktop Zorin OS on Virtual machine to test.

VM uses Oracle VM VirtualBox which runs on the following machine:
Windows 7 ultimate
Processor: AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-66 2.30 Ghz
Installed memory: 2 GB
System type: 32-bit OS

Zorin OS on VM:
System:

Base Memory:

512 MB
Boot Order:

Floppy, CD/DVD-ROM, Hard Disk
Acceleration:

VT-x/AMD-V, Nested Paging, PAE/NX

Video Memory:

12 MB
Remote Desktop Server:

Disabled

IDE controller

IDE Secondary Master (CD/DVD):

VBoxGuestAdditions.iso (49,75 MB)
SATA controller

SATA Port 0:

Zorin OS.vdi (Normal, 8,00 GB)

Can you check this pls?

Thx n advance.

I think the problem is the ram. You only have 2 GB of ram in total and you give 512mb of it for Zorin6. I would expect zorin to run slow in VM (with also very low video memory and 1 processor/CPU accredited to it).

I have zorin6 in VM in a laptop with 4gb ram and I give 2gb for Zorin. It runns just fine.

What system should I update?

The "install guest additions" is already done.

Hmm but I also tried this:
Base Memory:

768 MB
Boot Order:

Floppy, CD/DVD-ROM, Hard Disk
Acceleration:

VT-x/AMD-V, Nested Paging, PAE/NX

No changes :(
