OK, I feel real nuts but how do u get the vertical bar u use in a command line in the terminal??? I do not see it on my keyboard and never have had to use it.

Here is an example I copied (# lspci -n | grep 14e4) the bar between the n and grep is what I am talking about :D

Thanks
Chris

the bar is below the 'backspace' key on my keyboard ... would be 'shift' since the lower one is a 'backslash'.

on some keyboards it's directly on the 'left' side of the 'backspace' key.

Hi Chris,

it is (on my German keyboard) the "Alt Gr" button (right of the spacebar) and next to "y" on the left where the 2 left and right arrows are (< >).

If that is what you mean!!!!.

On the UK and US keyboards, it is above right "Enter" key!!. As Gonz said, press "Shift".

no it tells me I have to download the drivers. Ok if I had internet access then I would not have this problem (being sarcastic there).

Thanks Wolfman
