[SOLVED] Messing with appearAnce option & changed default

i was messing with the settings in apprearnce and changed from the default to radiance now im trying to get the default back and some of icons dont got images just a blank grey square can anyoen help me out please
also gnome thign with the blue z is permanley crashed it has a smiley face no matter what i do

Hi,

open Ubuntu tweak > Tweaks > Theme and make any changes you want there.

ok ty now how can i fix the gnome start bar smiley face ive tried everything

its liek a sad face in place of where u press start to open menu wel lwhere start would be in windows.

Right click > Start Button > Preferences (not Dock Preferences) > Button Selection > Install > then point it to the image.

Try changing theme with look changer. Change to i.e. gnome look, logout-login, then back to win7 theme, logout-login.

Some times I get the " sad smily" too but I just click and it reloads..

Hi chaps,

where is this "Smiley", I cannot find it, is it pre-installed or has it been placed there by some alien force on your PC's without your prior knowledge???.

WM he means that smiley face that appears when something (i.e. an applet) has crashed.
