i seen some pictures on the net where linux users was using the comwiz thign where they had a 3d cube as a desktop can you guy walk me through on enabling it and disablign it thank you

Hi,
you can read all about Compiz here:
http://www.compiz.org/http://wiki.compiz.org/You can look at the settings manager for Compiz:
Start button > System Tools > Preferences > Compiz Settings Manager
and make any changes you want to there!!.

Hi.
Compiz config settings manager>desktop and tick the boxes
desktop cube
rotate cube
You can also access these two settings and select various options to personalize your cube.
To rotate the cube either
1) Click and keep pressed the mouse wheel, and by moving the mouse, the cube rotates, or
2) Press and keep pressed Ctrl+alt+left touchpad button, and by moving your finger on the touchpad, the cube rotates.
Ofcourse, in order all above to work, your GPU must support 3d effects.
