wine won't run any of my windows programs. how do i fix this

i just installed wine on my computer and when i try to run a windows program, it just won't open it. i tried to configure it to windows xp but it still won't do anything. can anyone help me with this? :?:

Hi,

start by going to WineHQ and see if your apps are indeed supported by WINE:

gba emulator as well as a saga emu, nesoid emu, gbcoid emu, toribash, and steam

Saga is in the repo, just install it using this command in a terminal:

sudo apt-get install saga

For gbcoid go here but you will have to sign in:

For Toribash go here and click on > Debian > Direct download, either 32 or 64 Bit, make sure you have the right one for your system:
