I have spent many hours downloading and installing Zorin OS 6 core 64bit and I am now at my boiling point. i have 2 hdd's and one is full with my backup and the other I installed Zorin. I can't seem to use the hdd I installed Zorin on and I need to use it as that's my main hdd. Its not letting me transfer the files and it says that I am not the owner and I don't have permission but I am the only user and admin in the pc. What do I do to fix this?

Hi,

press Alt + F2 and enter this command:

gksudo nautilus

this will give you control over the home folder as "root", you can move files around but you must make sure that you allow permissions to all users; or just a specific one.

When you close the home folder, you will automatically become normal user again!.
