Cannot Install Firefox??

Every time I try to download and install Firefox within the Software Center,
It fails and says I need to check my connection. Well, my connection
obviously works fine or I wouldn't have been able to post this issue...
right??

Also, I thought Opera was an option with this OS. I don't see it anywhere
in the Software Center.

So far after 2 hours of running this OS, I have several issues and this one
is the first to get posted. Hopefully, I don't run into too many more or I will
be looking for another distro! I need an OS that just works.

firstly, make sure your system is fully up-to-date:

To install Firefox, paste this command in a terminal:

sudo apt-get install firefox
