where do i find how to stop the wiggle and all when opening and closing windows in zorin? i read it on the web somewhere but cannot find it now. with the small amount of ram i have and the standard vid card i can do w/o the fancy stuff. i need to concentrate on learning the system instead of it being fancy.

If you want to completely remove 3d effects and run in 2D mode (recomended for older PCs with low ram) log out, click the Z button and chose the "zorin fallback mode".

In "Compizconfig settings manager" click on "effects" & you can turn off whatever you don't like. It's found in System Tools>Preferences. Or just type com in the Gnomenu search bar. It'll pop up.
