sound is not working and need urdu software in zorin os core

hi
i have operating system zorin installed my hp laptop. its sound is not working . it is not muted also. i have installed inpage urdu in zorin through wine . it has been installed but it is not opened when i clik its icon in wine list.

As regards the audio problem:

1) Go to system settings>sound>output tab and check if there are any options for audio cards (and ofcourse verify that the volume bar is set high).

2) Open terminal and write
Code:
alsamixer

Check that the bars are set to high (especially the Master-bar). To do this use the arrow keys.

3) Open terminal and write
Code:
gstreamer-properties

In the audio tab - default audio, start experimenting with the options to see if one of them will work

secondly; I sent you a reply to your message about this problem and told you to install the Urdu language packs which would make the packages you want to use with Wine redundant.

Are you trying to install Windows software in Zorin??.
