New to Linux, Please help

New to Linux
Installed Zorin OS 6 onto 8gb usb drive
running live persistantly saving changes
updated using;

sudo apt-get update

then;

sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

this is what I get;

Errors were encountered while processing:
linux-image-3.2.0-29-generic
linux-image-generic
linux-generic
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
live@live:~$

OK, thank you! I'll keep it as is on my usb drive, and install the full OS on my HDD. Thanks again!

Hi,

if you have problems updating, try changing the download location:

viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2247

Already tried that Wolfman, but thanks. That's the same thread i read when i first encountered this problem, lots of good information! I couldn't even install Firefox without updating first, using the info in your post! Thanks again!

Hi,

I have a question for you, you said that you have Zorin on a USB stick, is it fully installed or just like it would be if it were a "Live CD" ?????.
