Webcam issues

Hi. I have a M$ HD webcam. It worked fine when I first installed Zorin OS, but now, for some reason, when I it is plugged into the usb, my OS runs very slow, and the light on the webcam flashes. Any ideas?

Hi,

have you updated the kernel recently??, do you have the webcam plugged in before you boot??.
