zorin blacks out on logout

Hey guys

Have been facing this issue for some time now, its really annoying. When i logout from gnome/gnome classic/zorin sessions, the screen blacks out and nothing happens. Out in frustration i press random keys and it logs in automatically into guest session. And then when i logout from that guest session i can login again fine.

Any idea what's the fix?

Hi,

open system settings > brightness and lock and check that it is off, do you have "suspend" active in the power option which is also in system settings??.

Unchecked the "Lock", for power options [sorry i cant upload screenshots since i joined this forum :(, dono y]

Suspend when inactive > Dont suspend > dont suspend

When lid id closed > Suspend > Suspend
