Driver Activated Not Currently In Use?

My Zotac 9500GT is still slow after activation, but it says I have to install it in the Additional Drivers Util and its "not currently in use". How do I do this?

I seems to have installed because have the nVidia X Server Setting and the default effects if working. I also checked on the Ubuntu Forum http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php? ... ted+Use%3F and someone mention this was a bug and to ignore it, but I haven't read through all the posts yet to see if this has been fixed. Also someone mention this has happened in prior version too.

I checked the nVidia site and they do have a new version, but before I install it, do I need to be aware of anything?
