[SOLVED] 1st Installation!

Hi there,

1. Used GParted ISO to create 3 partitions.

2. Than installed Zorin 6 ultimate highlighting on "/".

3. Saw a message displaying create a back up......clicked on don't show any more.

4. What are the things that need to be done now?

5. How do I install GParted to post screen shots for your expert advice.

6. How can one know that the install is fine?

I'm glad that installed Zorin only.

Swarfendor, Wolfman & madvinegar you got to assist me..........old man & new to Linux distros.

No doubt Zorin is the best Linux distro for me.

Why is the start menu zorin symbol unresponsive?

Hi Chris,

you should have this problem solved with updating, if it is still not working, right click the bottom panel and "Dock Preferences" > "Applets" > "Available Applets" > "Cairo Main Menu" then on the little green arow to add it to the panel, this will add another menu button to your bottom panel just in case!!.

Apologize about dual posting.........was so excited, had so many questions after the install so than thought to ask each individually

At the moment am updating, 588 MB of updates.

How can I know that the install is fine?
