1. Where is janitor located?
2. Can webcam be used with empathy?

As said, janitor is located within ubuntu tweak.
I have not tried the webcam with empathy. I use Skype for webcam calls.

Yes but at times get confused when there are 2 or more files in the synaptic, but you are a genius.
