I know it sounds really dumb, but I can seem to find the location of the trash folder.
I have been looking for ".Trash"

Prompt$ ls -a | grep -c .Trash
0

Prompt$ find .Trash
find: `.Trash': No such file or directory

Prompt$ locate .Trash
/usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.gnome.panel.applet.TrashAppletFactory.service
/usr/share/gnome-panel/4.0/applets/org.gnome.applets.TrashApplet.panel-applet

Never mind, I found it...

$HOME/.local/Trash

=D

Does anyone know a way I can make the trash items archive/compress instead of just copying and renameing...
well ... mostly just compression. I can take and set up cron to do it once a day but I would like it to be done each time a file is deleted.

Hi Linx,

I don't know how to compress but I ask myself; why bother?, use Bleachbit to delete the files and the job is done!!.
