I have two flavours of Linux on my machine -Deepin Linux and Zorin..I am not able to access certain websites from Zorin which I am able to access from Deepin otherwise.

What may be the problem?

Hi,

try using the add on "Browser Protect" in Firefox and see if you still have a problem at least with Firefox.

http://www.browserprotect.org/

Are they normal websites or something specific??.

They are Indian sites related to finance..One is a insurance provider site and the other is a Net Banking one..Wonder why such sites won't open up !!!.I am loving Zorin otherwise.

Yes they do require the user to Login with a userid and password..similar to how one logs in into Google or Facebook..No card reader or any special requirement.

I am able to open these sites on Zorin using a proxy online browser like Boom Proxy.

Hi,

are you using a personal firewall or is there one set in your router??.

It seems strange that you can access the sites via a proxy!!.
