Is there any way to modify the system from light version to core? I installed light because it fits a CD and I can't boot an USB, but I would like to try the features in the core version. Is there any way to change the packages?

Hi.
There is no way to do that. The ligh version is based on lubuntu and the core version is based on ubuntu.

Check my post here to see how to boot from USB even if you only have CD and your BIOS does not support USB booting.

Hi,

you can try using Synaptic and install the base packages for the Gnome system ("gnome and gnome-core") but whether you would still get the Zorin look and feel afterwards is anybodies guess!!.

Or in a terminal:

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install gnome gnome-core

The command should install the base packages for Gnome which you can add to afterwards!!. Select "LDM" or "GDM" during install!!.

This may break your system, I don't think it will but be prepared for a new install if things go wrong!!.
