plug n play installation querry

Can i install yahoo messenger or skype and other software like when i plug in a usb internet modem and will plug n play and install automatically the drivers for it? Because usb internet modem need to install its software in order to use it.

Sykpe comes pre-isntalled and Yahoo won't work but you can install "Gyachi" which is a Yahoo clone.

What type of modem do you have, is it a DSL modem or a Router type??, a router normally needs no drivers if connected via the network cable socket!!, a normal USB modem may or may not need drivers, that depends how new it is!!.

Let us know the make and model please!!.
