I think I have a virus but not sure. I have a problem of my sawp file being used excessively when I run Firefox or Thunderbird. I ran rthunter and maldetect and nothing was found. When I run Clam I find pua.script.packed-1 in Firefox. I delete the problem file and reboot, then I have the same problem again. I don't have a problem if Firefox or Thunderbird is not run. I'd like to get rid of the virus completely, how can I do this?

Open firefox. Go to Edit > Preferences > Advanced tab > Network tab
Click on "Clear Now" under Offline Storage.
You must clear the cache.
After is cleared reboot and see if you get any problem.

@mad - That fixed, thanks
@Wolf - I installed the 'Browser Protect' addon.
