Zorin Os 6 - usb keyboard doesn't work after a restart

Hi team,

Have used countless Linux flavors on my dell D830 w/ USB 4-way KVM without issue.

After installing Zorin OS 6 recently, after each reboot, the Keyboard does not work.

The KVM uses only 1 USB connection to each computer - and that runs both the keyboard and the mouse.

After each Zorin OS restart - the keyboard does not work, but the mouse does and I get stuck at the login screen.

If I unplug the single USB and plug into diff port - both mouse and keyboard work fine and am able to login.

Any ideas on this one ??

Thanks

Hi,

there are a few answers here:

http://askubuntu.com/questions/127410/u ... -and-mouse

I would try the last which basically you should have done already anyway, I am referring to updating, see also:

The USB adaptors sometimes work with Ubuntu; and sometimes don't, try simply moving the adaptor to a different USB port also!!.
