Can't install Zorin 6

I can't get past the blue screen it freezes I have Ubuntu 12.04 installed already and am trying to Install Zorin 6 64bit along with it. This happened in Ubuntu and I had to hit some keys to enter nomodset and blacklist my b43 card but I can't figure out how to do that to install Zorin. I really like the desktop options in Zorin so am hoping to get this to work. I tried a DVD and a USB but both freeze at first blue screen.

Q: Did you burn the disk at the slowest possible speed?, if not; you will get read/write errors.
