I am having severe issues with the login screen. I cannot get Zorin to load up past the login screen. If I unlock my user account Zorin boots just fine but if it is locked, getting Zorin to start doesn't work more often than it does. Any suggestions ?

Hi,
start your PC in recovery mode and run "dpkg" and see if this fixes the problem, see the section about "Broken Files" in this guide:
