Hi Guys

The sound in VLC is inttermittent for all videos or audios. However when i play the same files in default player, it works fine. Also when i boot into windows the sounds is fine. So must be some tweak issue in zorin 6.
Any help on this?

Thanks
Mark

Hi Mark,

have you installed the medibuntu repo?, did you install the package "non-free-codecs", have you checked the VLC plugins in Synaptic?????.

Hi Mark,

I'm not really certain myself so you can just tick them all (the ones that say plugin) for good measure!!. Do you have the packages "faac" and "flac" installed??.
