i was wondering if i could get a recomendation of a graphics card to look for when buying a laptop(considering that the gfx card may be intergrated). should i go with intel / nvidia based on speed, performance, & driver support?

I think Nivdia they provide drivers for Linux and out of all the Linux distro's I've tried I've never really had a problem with their cards and Linux other then having to roll back a version on a driver because that particular card was a bit to old. That being said recently I installed Zorn core 32bit on a machine that had an intel graphics card and Zorn picked it up and ran all the eye candy with out a problem,

Hope this helps

I have used both graphic cards on the same machine and imo Nvidia works better with Linux then ATI does.
