hi zorin

I would like to use the wallpaper changer Webilder.

I know it works in gnome 3 ( in pinguy os )...

I installed it in zorin 6.1. and I made a short cut to the preference window of webilder using the command "webilder_desktop"
I mange to set a backgraund using this preference window but it does not change the wallpaper, and i can not get the system tray icon of the program.

any one know how to get this program to run under zorin ?

Hi,

see this guide and the part about adding icons to the panel:

viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2054

Did you check in "Startup Applications" to make sure that Webilder is starting with the system!.

Let us know if this helps.

Hi Wolfman

thanks for your replay.
I did not found a way to use webilder in zorin - webilder works well in gnome shell ( as an extenssion ) or in gnome 2 ( as a panel applet ) .
I has no system try option.

any how - I did found that "Wallch" (in its testing vertion) can do the work.

see : https://answers.launchpad.net/wallpaper ... ion/192642

for the installation use:

Code:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:wallch/3+
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install wallch

it works well in the AWN system tray.

regards
