connection to ad-hoc problem

First of all, thank you for this OS. It is the first linux based OS I like.
I have a problem connecting to a wifi network (Ad-hoc) created with win7.
Image
The wireless finds the ad-hoc network but I can not select it, look at the above picture.
Is there any thing to do, to connect to the ad-hoc network I create?

Thank you

Thank you for the kind welcome.

I don't know what to do here:
What's the SSID, and BSSID?
I tried both bands (I left the channel as default) but same result, the ad-hoc netowrk can't be selected.
EDIT:
Now I saw in your screenshot, you mentioned at the SSID "name of my router", well I created an ad-hoc netowrk through an other PC with win7.

[Image removed by Moderator - never post a screenshot and use paintbrush over your MAC Address - anyone with a paint package program (Gimp or similar) can adjust brightness and contrast to 'reveal' all - if you want to submit a screenshot of your internet connection that contains mac addresses, select and cut the field out that holds MAC addresses then replace with a 'white' rectangle!]

Hi,

according to your pic you are already connected to another network!!, maybe that is why you cannot connect to the one you want!!.

SSID is the ID your router sends out and the details of your SSID including its password are normally on the back or underside of your router.

No, I wasn't connected to any other wireless network. My laptop tries itself to connect to an other wifi network which wasn't mine. The only way to connect to the internet is though cable.
The problem is, the network connection was made by an other laptop and not by a router, so I have no idea what to put in the SSID field.
I also tried to create a wifi network from Zorin OS and the other laptop with win7 detects the wifi, connects to the network but the internet doesn't work.

Control panel > Network and sharing center > manage wireless network > add > create an ad hoc network..
