Yahoo Mail

Although I've been using Zorin exclusively as my OS for the past six months I would be the first to admit that I'm no expert but yesterday I encountered a problem which somebody may have a cure for if they are more technically savvy than myself.

I'm using Zorin 5 which works perfectly well, my browser is Opera and I use Yahoo Mail. Yesterday Yahoo Mail updated itself and it is now almost non functional. If you wish to take an action with an email (like "Move") the box to the left of the email takes the "tick" but "Move" remains greyed out; it's not possible to use "Alt +click" to highlight more than one email; each time you do carry out an operation on an email you have to reload the whole page before you can even open another one, etc.

Opera is apparently not supported by Yahoo Mail but has worked in the past with no problems at all.

Any suggestions to assist would be gratefully received.

I would install Firefox for Yahoo! Mail and use Opera for everything else. I would avoid Chrome like the plague (as I do Google Search and for that matter, all applications by Google - (http://donttrack.us)

Thanks very much for your help - I've done exactly as you suggested and it's working OK with Firefox although it seems a bit "clunky" compared to the "old" version on Opera.

I'm pleased to say I haven't been anywhere near Google for many months and use Bing as my normal search engine (other suggestions would be welcomed).
