Hi, I don't now if this a a Ubuntu problem of LibreOffice/OpenOffice problem, but I can't seem to get a solution from either of their forums. Here is what I posted there:

I read another post regarding the problem with copy/paste, I have several MS Word 2000 documents on my Ubuntu 11.04 Zorin 5 Utlimate and I can copy and paste within the same document either in .odt or .doc and keep the same format. But in WIndows I can copy/paste from a .pdf to MS Word and maintaining the format, but I con't do this in LibreOffice or OpenOffice. Is this a Ubuntu Clipboard problem or Office? Between Ubuntu and Office who's stripping the font? I have all the same fonts on Ubuntu as I do on WIndows so what is the problem.

The font that MS WIndows uses to keep the same format as the .pdf is TimesNewRomanPSMT and TimesNewRomanPS-BoldMT, Both are Opentype.
