Zorin lite 6---wvdial won't run

Software says it's in there--sudo apt-get install wvdial.........starts---can't open file----no such file----Made myself user under users-for modem-----Do I need to give myself permissions to run?

Maybe it is not included in teh repositories of the Lite version of Zorin.

Always run wvdial with sudo.

I made myself root----wvdial ran and set up modem----can't edit /etc/wvdial.conf file for dialer defaults......opens in terminal,can't do it there ---need to open in file manager---can't find search ? No search button. All I lack is editing this file to get going----what turns on search in file manager?

In terminal run
sudo gedit /etc/wvdial.conf

/etc/wvdialconf opens up in terminal where you can't edit it--- No search button in files to find---what do you use to open search in files---6 uses Ctrl+f for file search----

oops, my bad. Totally forgot you are using ZOrin Lite.
Use this command instead.
